Recording

WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG or AIFF, up to 20 MB. Works with a voice, a solo instrument, or piano and guitar with chords. For the rhythm to come out right, the audio should start on beat 1; if it doesn't, adjust it under More options.

Settings

Sets the clef and the sound the score opens with in MuseScore and Guitar Pro. If more than one note plays at a time, pick a chords option: piano comes out on two staves, guitar on one staff that Guitar Pro turns into tab.

If you're not sure, leave 120. You can change the tempo later in MuseScore.

More options

Silence before the first note becomes a rest, measured from the tempo.

Notes snap to this grid. If small timing slips turn into dotted notes and ties, try eighth notes.

Raise it if stray notes you didn't sing show up.
